Hi there, we have a website at www.d-ability.org which links thru' to
individuals and organisations from across the globe who are involved in a broad
range of leisure and recreation pursuits. From rock-climbing thru' to yoga or
reading, there are all sorts of folks out there getting on with a wide range of
activ's that you can tap into for further information and inspiration. We use
the website as part of our education resources here in the rehabilitation
hospital where I work as a way of promoting a positive focus on ability and
participation.

Of course then its a case of searching further for people or other resources
that might be local to you - some are on the net hopefully, others will be word
of mouth etc to find them. Plenty of folks on our website will have faced many
of the same challenges too, so there's no better resource we believe than your
peers to see how they've gone about achieving the things they've done. That's
why I've tuned into the quad discussion list for years now too.

Have a look in the 'hot links' section of the website to see some of the
variety of people etc there - and we welcome more links too, please anyone make
suggestions!

Cheerio.

It depends on where you live?
