Sure, Danny. It is an ultrasound, same thing they use to look at babies. Very
simple.

Danny, make sure it is not a deep vein blood clot. That would be bad news

Hi gang,  for the last few months i've been getting pain in my left upper
thigh--it usually starts in after I have been up in my chair most of the
day--it feels like it is deep inside and not just the nerve type of pain. It
keeps hurting after I go to bed but then gets better after a few hours or after
I sleep. I do have a syrinx but not sure if that has anything to do with this .
Anyone ever heard of this type of thing??  I'm going to see my family doctor in
october for a check up  then later i'll have my urologist check for stones or
problems because they have not done that in 4 years .   thanks, If anyone has
any idea on this let me know,  ( yeah..my st.louis cardinals made the
play-offs--but we got to play philly and man they are so good this year! )  cya
all later,   Dan H.  C-6  St. Louis, Mo.  14 years post.
