with some living in the area that you are visiting and can offer some  
local info as well.  Just make sure that you leave prepared with meds and  
supplies and properly marked wheelchair for the jet.  A plastic green/blue  
container to empty your uro-bag might be considered for the long journey  too.

Straight away  I've got a pretty good handle on getting about in LA.

Didn't know that  we could get an accessible van so cheap ($100 day), may
well get one for a  couple of days.

But the other options look do-able also.

And  thanks for the heads up re the NBA, seems strange to me the  players
dictating to the NBA.

But this is what I'm hoping for from  my LA experience, to soak up the US 
way
of life, and meet the  locals.
