_www.wheelchairjunkie.com_ (http://www.wheelchairjunkie.com) has a group with some living in the area that you are visiting and can offer some local info as well. Just make sure that you leave prepared with meds and supplies and properly marked wheelchair for the jet. A plastic green/blue container to empty your uro-bag might be considered for the long journey too. Best Wishes In a message dated 10/3/2011 3:51:22 P.M. Hi List Members Ben, Wheelchair (??), and Joan awesome. That's exactly the sort of feedback I was hoping for. You guys rock ! Straight away I've got a pretty good handle on getting about in LA. Didn't know that we could get an accessible van so cheap ($100 day), may well get one for a couple of days. But the other options look do-able also. And thanks for the heads up re the NBA, seems strange to me the players dictating to the NBA. But this is what I'm hoping for from my LA experience, to soak up the US way of life, and meet the locals. Great suggestions guys !
