I've been a quad for over 43 years, and if I'm not mistaken GH, you've been a
quad for longer than that.  Something is keeping you going .. what do YOU do?

I keep hydrated, I don't, however, guzzle water constantly (I do drink more if
I get an infection).  Before my MIL died, her fluids were restricted for that
very reason - but her thirst was never quenched, she would drink 24/7 if
allowed free choice liquids.

I think the key is knowing your body.  Knowing what it takes to keep your
kidneys and bladder in good shape and having blood work done on a regular
basis.  If there is a drop in Sodium-Potassium it will show up and can be
addressed at that time.

Take care,
"Naughty" Nan

Subject: [QUAD-L] Sodium-Potassium

Hi All,

A local quad was told to limit his fluid intake because the quack Dr. thought
he was flushing Sodium & Potassium from his body.

Anyone have problems with Sodium-Potassium?
