Yes, Eric ..and Don--this is the corect tool----I could'nt hardly get by 
without 
mine--I keep it hanging on a nail just inside my bedroom door, any time I need 
it I just pull into my doorway and grab it---Mine is made of titanium and 
lightweight, I love it and need it almost daily---I pick up newspapers and 
anything I need from the ground-out of the fridge and so on with it.---mine has 
even helped pay for itself because I live near a waterpark and a strip mall and 
I have found change and paper money folks have dropped on the ground  LOL !  ( 
I
