Hi There Hey I've got butt surgery scheduled for the 2nd week in the new year.
And after not spending a single day on 'bed-rest' for over 20 years I'm a little nervous of the outcome. So I'm emailing my friends in the 'disabled community' to see if any of you have had a similar experience (first or second hand). I'm having haemroid surgery to remove some long standing pesky little blighters. And then I have a mole on my butt as well that's been changing shape & colour, so Dr Hadawi wants to remove that as well. He says it will involve a piece of skin the size of a new 50 cent piece. He reckons I should be up sitting in my chair in a couple of days. However I'm not sure, as he hasn't had any experience with SCI type injuries, re healing times, no sensation, pressure sore type issues. So what say you all ! Sounds a bit freaky to me.
