No I wouldn’t use it on open wounds but I use it on chafed, dry, or irritated 
skin.

Leave it to Wally Woild.  I read the directions and warning on another page and 
it seemed to me as though the product Wally Woild is selling is the product for 
cows udders, hence the farm product.

I recommend, use and suggest both product as a preventative rather then a cure 
on open sores and cuts. I don't know where abrasion info on both products, but 
its worth obtaining if one is using on or treating open wounds.

  Just for clarification:  Udder Balm is the farm version used on cow's udders. 
 It states on the udder balm container, (not sterile) and not for human use.
  Bag Balm (green) container is for human use, but I think that container say 
not to apply on open sores or broken skin.  Hence, its more of a product to 
prevent, rather then cure.   Just keep this in mind and read the container too.
