No I wouldn’t use it on open wounds but I use it on chafed, dry, or irritated skin.

I read the directions and warning on another page and it seemed to me as though the product Wally Woild is selling is the product for cows udders, hence the farm product. I recommend, use and suggest both product as a preventative rather then a cure on open sores and cuts. I don't know where abrasion info on both products, but its worth obtaining if one is using on or treating open wounds. Do we agree Best Wishes In a message dated 2/2/2012 4:04:56 P.M. It states on the udder balm container, (not sterile) and not for human use. Bag Balm (green) container is for human use, but I think that container say not to apply on open sores or broken skin. Hence, its more of a product to prevent, rather then cure. Just keep this in mind and read the container too. Best Wishes In a message dated 2/2/2012 3:33:43 P.M.
