Well said, very encouraging!

I was paralyzed at 21 years of age and was a new police officer. I lost my
career, girlfriend, legs and the list goes on a long way. im still living with my
father at 35 yrs old. I might tell my whole story on here at some point but it
gets pretty crazy. One thing i learned six month ago when my appendix burst was
that....I still want to live and fought to live. Its not about what we cant do,
its about the things left that we still can do. When Im finally laying there to
die ,whether it be tomorrow or 40 yrs from now...i want to know inside that I
fought and accomplished some things and will hopefully be remembered for that.
We cant let bad feelings, hurt and resentment destroy what we have left. Never
compare yourself to others because its not a fair race, we all have different
injury levels, economic backgrounds, support networks. No quad ever truely does
it all alone, every highly successful quad has had support in some way or form
along the way, not all of us can reach the same level. You have to do all you
can yourself, accept help if its there and in the end you did all you can.
Society doesnt understand that , hell alot of my family members dont get that
