I have cramping in my lower belly area especially on the days that I do my bowel routine, which is every other day. By using electrolyte solution of about 8 ounces or so, stool softener is twice a day and a suppository at night then the results are cleaned up the next morning. Any time that I have been on antibiotics that greatly increases cramping sensation and on some occasions the foods that I eat that gives me extra gas for this strange sensation in that area. It is difficult trying to determine where the pain actually is but last fall I had an m.r.i. & a cat scan of my belly. Nothing was wrong. I think it's just sore from not being empty as we should be. For a while now I have been experiencing pain in my lower ab, not sure if it's my intestines, bladder, I don't know but I'm guessing it's my intestines, it feels like a burning sensation and I get it in the mornings. I associate it with the laxatives since the pain is a lot stronger on the morning following the evening that I took the laxative, ( I do my bowel program every other day). At times a bm follows the really strong pain, without even using a suppository, that actually happened today and apparently I completely emptied. I have tried different laxatives but I still get pain. Has any of you had problems with your laxatives? What kind do you all take?
