Danny, Yes, I get it and recently renewed it with the last flu shot. The shot protects you from only certain types of pneumonia. You still are susceptible to others because your system is compromised. My doctor at Kessler recommends that all people with compromised systems get the shot. BTW, whenever u get(even early) it's good for 5 yrs.
