The best estimates of their release put the time at sometime after midnight on April 24. Wyle and the ADAPT members were arrested for protesting the drastic proposed Medicaid cuts in the U. S. House of Representatives Ryan budget plan. The cuts would take home and community services from disabled and older Americans, thus forcing them into more costly nursing homes and other institutions. Wyle is a longtime advocate of universal health care coverage, especially for people with no health insurance. Best know for his work on the television drama series ER, he is currently starring in the TNT series "Falling Skies."
