I can't remember if it was this group of not, but the ones that called me
sounded official and as if they were working with SS Disability to get people
back to work. It was a recorded call that left a message on my machine. I never
called them back because I knew social security would not give out my
information. They called several times leaving messages saying "your social
security benefits may be at risk if you don't contact us." I never got any
messages from social security stating that my benefits were at risk. Only
messages over the phone from that company. I never called them back.

When I had been on workman's comp, the workman's comp insurance wanted to prove
that I could work and had a company like this call me. They said that I could
work from bed and just needed computer and a phone line. It sounded legitimate.
Then after I got all the stuff, a second private line, and phone with a
headset, and completed the training, thats when I got bullied.

They said that I could work whatever hours that I wanted, but I had to put in
40 between the hours of 8 A.M. eastern time and 9 PM western time. That sounds
great, but if you are in too much pain to move, you really can't work or be
productive. With me, if I get to feeling too much pain, I vomit. That would be
a wonderful thing to happen over the phone. The company would chew me out
because I was unable to make the calls. They weren't nice, either.

Thankfully I had a lawyer at the time fighting for my workman's comp benefits.
They had to intervene. They also checked out the company that the workman's
comp lawyers had found and thought the company sounded like a scam. It sounded
like the company was just there to prove that I could put in hours so the
workman's comp insurance wouldn't have to pay. That was the end of my work at
home experience.

I don't have the ability to do anything fun for any extended time, I'm
certainly not going to allow anyone to abuse me for any length of time. (I'm
still bitter by my experience.)

Subject: [QUAD-L] Work at Home Jobs for the Disabled

I received a phone call yesterday (recorded message) from someone regarding
work at home jobs for the disabled, at Super Meijer. It appears to be
legitimate. I'm planning to check it out.
