I am looking for a simple database management program , or contact
management software, maybe something simple like the old PFS file. I am
currently running Dragon NaturallySpeaking on Microsoft Windows XP.

I would like to set up a simple database to keep contact information (names,
addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, scheduled times to call,
notes...) and tasks. Does anyone have experience with a software package,
which can work well with Dragon NaturallySpeaking?

I have personally had problems running Microsoft office 2007 with Dragon.
Excel and Word and Powerpoint frequently hang up, and so I don't want to
experiment with Microsoft Access. Before my injury, I used ACT!, But the
reason supported versions of ACT! Are now running as a client/server
application, and it just seems a bit too complicated for me these days.

I have been storing information by creating text files accessed via
DragonPad and WordPad and PolyEdit (an inexpensive word processing program I
highly recommend). I am currently storing all my e-mail addresses in
Outlook, and I am storing telephone numbers in Skype, and I am maintaining
my calendar in a free online application (www.toodledo.com). Naturally, I
also have access to contact information in Facebook in Linked-In as well. I
would very much like to find some sort of a way to store all the information
in one place.

First question: can you recommend any software or applications which you
think can help?

Second question: if I am successful in coming up with some good options, is
anyone else interested in this sort of thing?

Thanks,

Dave Krehbiel.
