I had a DBT back in 1998. Mine was in the upper groin area, but thankfully it did not travel up to my lungs.
I was lucky, at the time I had a young doctor who happen to be in his residency for dermatology living with me. He came in late in the evening and told me to go to the ER. It was pretty bad, but for some reason they did not put any filter in. I was on Coumadin for about a year and now I'm taking 81 mg aspirin every other day. Good luck LQ Q On Wed, Jun 13, 2012 at 3:19 PM, ~LittleQuad~ <[email protected]> wrote: > I don't know...I'm not sure how bad it is. i go to the doctor in the > morning. it seems the docs may not think it's thaaat bad... not sure? > LQ > > > --- On *Fri, 6/8/12, Danny Hearn <[email protected]>* wrote: > > > From: Danny Hearn <[email protected]> > > Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] DVT in calf > To: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] > Date: Friday, June 8, 2012, 11:20 AM > > yes, hope you get better soon----in rehab I had one in my leg and was > on blood thinner too---cant remember the lenth of time, but seeed like a > month or 2 maybe.
