Yesterday I made a trip to hospital to get as doctor said "an ultrasound
on leg STAT" where my blood clot is. I called to inform them that my leg was
swelling and cramping. They told me go get blood checked. Then My blood
test check came back abnormal.
I just saw my PCP and They don't think the blood clot is there anymore but
my blood is really thick, my PT/INR is 1.2 and needs to be between 2 and
3. Which we think is why my legs are hurting. Going to change my Coumadin
routine and check again in 2 weeks!
Praying it gets better soon!!

I can't remember the exact time it took, but I had terrible discoloration
in excess of six months and swelling for at least four months. Then again,
I had a terrible DVT..

Great. It sounds like you are on top of this issue. Be sure to ask the
doctor about the normal length of time it would/should/could take for the
clot to disappear.... or if it will, in YOUR case.
Best Wishes

And that is good. I'm surprised that you needed an appointment for the
doctor. If it was truly serious, they doctor's office would/could/should
have called you immediately and advised you. My guess is a non-serious
reaction to the uti meds. Have you looked up the "long sheet" on the effects
of
Cipro?
Be Safe

I'm truly surprised that you haven't contacted your primary and advised
them of your symptoms issue. I offer the same advice to Mothers and their
newborns. Call your doctor's office on the phone and leave a message like,
"This is "LittleQuad" our patient. You prescribed some meds for me and I'm
taking those meds as described. I'm having this affect and not sure if its
normal or creating other issues. Can You Advise.

Now the ball is in your doctor's court and they have to respond to you.
Its just that simple.
Best Wishes

How long does it take for blood clots to disappear? My foot and calf still
swollen and I injured it May 7th and found out about it 3 half weeks ago.
I was on Lovenox injections for a week plus Coumadin and my blood got too
thin. Now I'm on Coumadin 3mg M-T and 5mg FSS.
Also my toes are RED. Is that something bad? Only first knuckle down.
Thanks
