Just asked my PCP yesterday and she said surgery is not recommended. Besides
the recovery (in bed, for quads), the outcome is uncertain. Scarring can make
passing more difficult -or- their removal can cause incontinence ...as well as
the fact they can come back.

Surgery isn't usually any help for quads. The hemorroids just come right back
and what do you do while the surgery heals? Go to a colostomy? Usual advise is
to eat lots of greens. Never see a bunny rabbt with hemorroids. That P.I.E.
machine is what you need. Got 4 grand?

Using Preparation-H before you get back in the chair can help reduce swelling,
and that helps a lot towards reducing pain.

I’ve been putting up with hemorrhoids for awhile. I have no sensation but while
on my shower chair I have symptoms of mild ad – spasms, sweating on my neck

for awhile I was actually taking a pain pill in the morning once I was in my
chair but then realized if my caregiver just applied pressure the external one
would go back inside. this is now a daily remedy but am thinking I probably
need surgery.

can anyone share similar experiences and surgery recovery time?
