Well, been feeling bad for about a week, like my bp had bottomed out and the creek had run dry. Got up Sat. and had light red splotchiness on upper left leg. I thought --that is just where my 4 lb. Chihuahua has been sleeping. Chubs, bless her lil' cold nose heart. Got up Sun. morn and the redness had strengthened and moved toward my knee. A bright vibrant red that spoke eloquently of infection. I thought, first thing Monday morning, I shall pursue this foul malady, assuming I don't die in the interim. This morning my foot was double normal size, scaly, and an angry, nay, vicious scarlet from toe to knee! The doc took one peek and said, Hie thee to a hospital post haste, young man! Your future is filled with IV's and other modern medical monstrosities. And so she was right. So here I lie, beaten down by fate, and sporting feet that resemble a dead dinosaur's rotting feet. I also have a fever and a bad attitude! Anyway, you guys say a prayer for me cause it looks like I'm going to need them. God bless you, my quad posse. Also pray that my guardian angel is named Saint Roceferin!
