I read both of her books. As far as I know Jill Kinmont-Booth is the longest living quad. Jill became a C-4,5 quad from a skiing accident in January 1955 when she was 17 she was the first person confined to a wheelchair to be a school teacher. There were 2 books and 2 movies about Jill Kinmont-Booth's life. One about her accident and the other about how she met her now husband, John Booth, and their life together. I called her about 10 years ago to say "Thanks for inspiring me." My Field Hockey coach took me to see her first movie "The Other Side of the Mountain" about 9 months after my accident which was 1975. The second movie and book is titled "The Other Side of the Mountain Part 2". Bobbie
