Hi All,
I went to my 2nd wheelchair clinic appointment they measured me every
which way and adjusted a center wheel drive Quantum Edge "testing chair." A
Kessler PT and my supplier adjusted the adjustable seat, back and footrests.
I'd never been in a center wheel wheelchair before, it almost felt like I was
in a hover craft. The suspension on the Quantum Edge was fantastic, I couldn't
feel the cracks in the sidewalk much at all.
It got me thinking that some wheelchair company should make a Hovercraft
Wheelchair. Then we all wouldn't need to be concerned about bumping into things
or people, and we could raise up higher to reach things and not be burdened by
cracks in the sidewalk hurting or for that matter we could go over water,
rocks, logs or anything in our way.
What would you all do in a Hovercraft Wheelchair? Bobbie
