Meredith,
Since day one when I was injured use to sweat day and night. I'd wake-up in bed
and all the towels I had to sleep with would be soaking went ..… I mean you
could wring out the towel. Then ALL day long my hair would be dripping wet I'd
HAVE to wear a towel around my neck and change it at least 3 times a day, my
blouse too. This happened during the winter as well, I can't even describe how
cold I'd get. I went to college like this AND dated a Lot and met my husband
too.
Anyway, all the Doctor's said it was just nerve damage and there was nothing
that could be done to stop the sweating. Then 15 YEARS post I had to have a
Ryzodomy because of uncontrollable spasms. The surgery stopped the spasms AND
the sweating!
That's my story. Bobbie

I have a lot of issues with sweating at night, don't know if it is hormonal,
quad related, vicodin related or a UTI. Anyone take Hormone replacements?

my doc says 3 a day (oxycodone) 5 mg. and no more. i may go to pain management
after i talk to the spine specialist. they make me feel like i'm a drug seeker.

he started me on 6 5mg of oxycodone to start and I still take 3 1mg of
lorezapam per day. i will adjust and figure things out as i go, but so glad hes
open to work with me. well worth the trip

Hi Ron,
If you don't mind me asking, what did they start you out on? I'm seeing a new
spine specialist at the end of the month.

I went to pain management today and they helped me. Gave me what I needed and
is willing to work with me. Thank God! I feel validated as a human being.
