I kept my Group 24 battery (Heavy duty deep cycle) removed from my Invacare Storm, wired in parrel, hooked to a 1500 watt inverter, added a cheap charger, mounted in a large Craftsmen toolbox on wheels, Instant AC. Runs my hospital bed, air mattress and 100 watt light over 8 hours. If it would go longer than 8 hours, the box can be moved to a vehicle, the ac charger unplugs and battery jumpers snap on, start car and we go another ?? hours. I discharge / charge it once a month.
