Billy is right. It's Murphy's law for quads. There can be a single piece of gum on a football field and my wheel will find it. The hard/softness of the tire makes a big difference in the comfort of the ride. Too hard makes your bones rattle when you are traveling a rough surface. Tough on the tailbone. I suspect avoidance is the only sure way to fix the mud and poo problem.
