Bobbie, I know exactly how you feel. I only have one person's home that I have
access to, a girlfriend who paid to have a temporary ramp at her home, so I'll
have access. I spend all of my holiday dinners at her home, mainly because it's
the only one I can access. Even my own children have not made their homes
accessible to me. It is heartbreaking to feel that you're not important enough
for family to make provisions for you. I also have spent a lot of time with my
in-laws in the past 30 years. I feel really left out when they're all together
and I'm not there.

Have a Blessed Day, Naomi

Subject: [QUAD-L] Barriers for family visits

Hi all.
This happens EVERY single year, nd it STILL breaks my heart. My
husbands out tonight visiting his family … with whom I've gotten very
close to in the past 30 years. I us to be be to get in this hose until
they planted scrubs where my ramp use to go … now I can't get in. Pete
is glad, in a way, because he never liked carring the big ramp in his
nice cloths.
So, here I amin bed, alone, while Pete is off at a Christmas party.
Yes, I'm feeling sorry for my self.
Bobbie
