Nan,
Many, MANY years ago … back in the 1970s … I was prescribed
propatheline. I HATETED the dry mouth side affects SOOOOO much that I
told my Doc's that I was allegic. Then I realized, a few more years
later, that if "they" thought I was allegic to propatheline then they
would assume I would be allergic to any other related meds. It took an
amazing amount of YEARS to convince nurse's, Doctor's, ER intake people
that I am NOT allegic to propatheline - I just said so because yada,
yada, yada. Bobbie

I'll take the dry mouth to the sweating any day. I recently tried
cutting the Propantheline in half, thanks to a Q-List member, and that
really helped. Plus, I never mind drinking more - and when my mouth is
dry I always drink more...
I'm a Propantheline advocate, but what it boils down to is that we are
all different. Try some to the meds that have been discussed and go
with whatever works for you. :)

There are so many things that Medicare part D doesn't cover. My
out-of-pocket has tripled. I don't even know if mine is covered because
they charge my credit card. It doesn't say what it is for.
Propantheline really dries out my mouth and it is uncomfortable. I have
to drink all the time. It takes quite some time to wear off.

Ditropan gave me like panic dreams.
Not nightmares, but I'd wakeup startled. No idea what I was dreaming.
