I have Psoriasis and have used most of the OTC products for itchy scalp in the
past.   I now rely primarily on prescription meds, but can recommend the
products that have helped me along the way.  TSal is better than TGel - the
active ingredient is Salicylic acid.  Scalpicin is a solution which also
contains Salicylic acid.  I also use an oil at night called Derma Smoothe - I
can't remember if it's OTC or not ... It doesn't make you pretty but it feels
sooooooo good!  Also, I alternate my Rx shampoo with a zinc shampoo.

Is your home dry?  I've had a problem with that this winter.  A humidifier
might help... I've been using a big kettle on my stove and I notice a big
difference in overall itching.

Good luck with it!

Nan

Had same Problem until I switched to a new shampoo. Try TGel, it has a creosote
base. Worked wonders for me.
