I was looking on eBay the other day and saw an older modified Blueant V1. I ended up buying it for $30.00! Then I had to upgrade my cell phone. It is my original cell phone from seven years ago and I doubt that any other will last as long. It has had numerous flying lessons and still keeps ticking. There are things that I miss all about it but I really like the larger face of my LG Xpression. Because I have always had a problem keeping a Bluetooth in my ear I ended up ordering a custom fit earpiece from Avery and it is fantastic. Has not fallen out one time and does not work at all even if I wear it 14 hours. As far as the modified Blueant I'm still trying to find a way and the place to keep the magnet that switches the Bluetooth on and off. It came with a flexible aluminum rod so we are experimenting with that and have pretty much decided that a short rigid rod with a flexible three or 4 inch end would be best.
My son in law built me an awesome (he is a very talented welder) attachment for my wheelchair that keeps the wheelchair display over my right arm, and my phone velcros to that and he says he can make me an attachment for the cell phone magnet. Now I am not always running into tables with my wheelchair display and I can actually get much closer to the table. :-) always a good thing. I have looked at the No Hands Blueant before, but always wondered if the magnet on the rod would be rigid enough and not be in the way while moving around. It is not for me, and it does get in the way. But I do like the way the cell phone System Works and down the road will probably look at purchasing a new one when it becomes necessary. So many new good things all at one time. Started the new year off with a bang. Just wanted to share. Joan
