I don't know about Florida, but there are a few of us on the quad-list who live in Arizona. I moved to AZ from snowy Wisconsin in 1986, four years after my spinal cord injury. I completely understand your feelings about the cold weather, and frankly don't know how any of you cold state quads survive (you're stronger than I am!) I have no idea how AZ benefits compare to NY, but I can tell you it's 86 degrees here today and forecast calls for 80's for the next 10 days. Of course, we'll be above 100 F for about six months, starting in late April and going halfway through October. I happen to LOVE the heat, but most people here don't.
