That's great Bobbie
I looked it up on the Internet and it looks fantastic. I don't use a head rest
because I felt it would interfere with my ability to stretch my neck and get in
my way when outside bouncing around. But that one could be put out of the way.
Good luck Joan

Subject: [QUAD-L] My new chair was approved!

Hi All,
Today a nurse from my HMO came to evaluate me for approval or denie me
for a Quantum Q center wheel drive (never had one before) chair. I was
approved! Including a power headrest. Not the kind of power headrest that
oporate's the chair's movements but a power headrest that I oporate from the
joy stick where I can comande it to raise up into any position I desire and ten
tuck away. It is a Motion Concept power headrest.
My vendor said this will be the very first power headrest to be approved
that they have done or have EVER known to be approved. There most likely will
be wanting to do a short video of me demonstrating it and they will put it on
their web site and YouTube … I'll keep you all posted.
My turning radius will shrink down 18" because of the poor seating my chair
now has and going to center wheel drive. I live in a 400 square foot apartment,
so this is going to be a BIG deal. Also, this chair is going to be 3-4" lower
and narrower.
The chair I have now has been a complete nightmare ever since I sat in it
because of the hight and width being WAY to big. There will be somethings I
won't be able to reach but I will be able to get back
under tables again. Bobbie
