I haven't tried one, but have been thinking about getting one. I went to
"Hanger" a place that makes braces, artificial limbs, etc. To get a wrist
splint. They had an "LSO Soft Body Jacket" sitting there for someone else. It
looked like it would work well. If I recall it was one piece that slipped over
your head and velcros shut on one side. Though it might have just been velcroed
shut on one side already. It was a 3/4 inch tan colored foam. Looked stiff, but
pliable. I think she said it was $800, and my insurance covered 80%. So it
would cost me $160. Not too bad if it lasts awhile. They can just measure you,
or make a mold of your belly area. I really think it would help me. The lateral
supports on my chair just don't hold me straight. They always come loose. Greg
