Actually, I think a couple have me in quad years. G. Henry for one ... "In July
will be 46 years post
SCI I will be 62 years old".

I hear ya Joan. I don't think I want to live into my 90s. One of my greatest
fears is anesthesia. The last time I had general anesthesia I nearly died from
pneumonia. I've had locals ever since, and that's been for a lot of surgeries
... the docs always say it's impossible, so I've learned to go to straight to
the anesthesiologist. They always say "Hell yes!! - If you can handle being
aware of what's going on." So, I'll keep doing that as long as I can!

Nan

Nan, you’ll have almost everyone be in quad years! I am not sure that I will
live to see 45 years, nor am I sure that I’d want to. JThat would make me 96
years old. Of course I did not expect to live this long with being such a high
quad. My greatest fear is that every time I need some sort of surgery they will
have to put me on a respirator again as my neck is not flexible enough to
intubate me. Oh well, we’ll cross that bridge when we have to. Have a great day
everyone lovely weather Joan

Hey ... I'm "in your range" - I'll be 61 in May too!  What day is your
birthday?  Mine's the 23. :)

I think I have you in quad years though.  It will be 45 years in June.

Nan

Aye, Eric, you are but a pup!  I'll be 61 in May. Those teenage years really
just seem like yesterday, though. A couple more folks on here are in my range.

Wow!  I thought I was gaining a little bit of seniority around here.  Age 42,
16 years post but then read I’m still a pup ;-p  I was born in ‘71!
