Much depends on the specialist and their protocol. (you should be asking
them)
Generally if you are placed in a tub of water, all you will hear is
snapping sounds as the equipment is being used to shatter the stone (s).
There
is generally no discomfort.
You might consider adding more vinegar to your diet to break down any
solids in your body.

Hi everyone,
This is my first post after joining a month or so ago. I had a fall
10/27/1986 and had a fusion of c5/c6. I am closing on 27 years, was 20
when I fell.

I have a kidney stone in my left kidney, it is 6cmx7cm and have an
appointment scheduled to have it blasted on May 6th, I was inquiring if
anyone has had it done and what concerns I should have like do I need to
be put under during the procedure being that not having feeling in the
area.

Thanks,
Mike
