(you should be asking them) Generally if you are placed in a tub of water, all you will hear is snapping sounds as the equipment is being used to shatter the stone (s). Hi everyone, This is my first post after joining a month or so ago. I had a fall 10/27/1986 and had a fusion of c5/c6. I am closing on 27 years, was 20 when I fell. I have a kidney stone in my left kidney, it is 6cmx7cm and have an appointment scheduled to have it blasted on May 6th, I was inquiring if anyone has had it done and what concerns I should have like do I need to be put under during the procedure being that not having feeling in the area.
