Hi all, When I was younger eggs were considered good for you. Then, suddenly, they became bad for you (same with butter.) Then the yolks were good for you. Later just the egg whites were the healthy part. Now whole eggs get the thumbs-up again, I think.
Remember the food pyramid we were taught? Gone. In its place 'my plate,' which is protein, veggies, fruit, grains and dairy. Seems that everytime we turn around there's a new fad diet. Scarsdale. Atkins, South Beach. Paleo, anyone? The same goes for 'miracle' foods (quinoa, noni juice, goji berries, acai). What's 'healthy' for you changes almost monthly.
