You mentioned that they have an established SCI Team. I'm sure that they are aware of all the risks too. Have you talked with any inpatients while you were there to see just how Quads are treated? Is anyone using the VA for health services? I just registered for benefits (non service connected), and they want me to check in and stay at the hospital for 3 to 5 days. They have an SCI team approach that all The specialty doctors can see me in that time.
