>Hi Quad-list!
I recently joined the quad-list, but I've had some trouble getting my emails
through. I am trying another email address of mine and I hope this works. My
name is Britt and I'm the co-founder of SPINALpedia.com, which is the new SCI
resource that Dana emailed about a few days ago. My dad has been a C6-7 quad
since he was in a car accident in 1998 when I was 12 years old and a C5 quad
friend of mine and I have developed this resource together over the last few
years. SPINALpedia is a free user-generated how-to video network that is
filtered to one's specific degree of mobility and a place for people to connect
and learn from each other. We have thousands of videos –from the basics
(transferring) to the extreme (adapted skydiving). Regardless of how many years
you've been paralyzed, you can find what you're looking for and make what you
wish you knew when you were first paralyzed available to others in your
situation (similar to what Bobbie suggested
about YouTube). Our goal is to reach and unite more of the SCI community by
providing resources that actually teach people how to adapt life tasks and get
people in the right mindset, no matter where you live. I recently quit my job
to take on SPINALpedia full time, so this is a very exciting time for us. We
already have over 1000 members from all over the world and 3000+ videos, and we
hope to reach everyone who can benefit from it.
>I can answer any questions you may have, and I hope that it will be helpful. I
>look forward to connecting with you all. :)

Thanks so much,
Britt
