Here in Ky. the rebate is called the Homestead exemption. I applied for it this summer and was denied. Why? Because I had worked (teaching) for the last 20 years and now drew a pension, I was not considered disabled. Apparently, only if you draw a disability check are you considered disabled. I will qualify only when I turn 65. Unbelievable. Larry W.
