Does anyone else take Dibenzyline? I was prescribed this drug during my initial SCI rehab and have been taking it for the last 25 years. It is supposed to help diminish any dysreflexia associated with bladder (or anything else I presume). It's very expensive ($95 co-pay for a 90 day prescription - insurance pays over $3000 for the 90 day prescription, yes $3000!) and there is no generic substitute in the US. I have tried cutting back in the past, but the resulting increase in dysreflexia invariably causes me to go back to my regular dosage. Just curious if anyone else is taking it, if they ever eventually stopped or began taking an alternative medication that is less expensive and equally effective.
