Sure... Skype allows you to create voice calls, messages and do video conferencing to other skype users. You can pay and make phone calls as well however there is currently no 911 service.

Tell me about Skype.  I haven't tried it.  Have a camera but no microphone.  Is it free it call someone else with Skype?
