I went for years with manual CHAIRS AND RUBBER RIMS ETC.. I now use a power
assist quickie ex and will never go back. I have had the same chair and wheels
for 6yrs now. I can push so easily and still move around with ease like
manual.I think all quads who can push should have one. I have had no any
problems at all with it. only new batteries to buy.
Best,

Quads grip vary from individual to individual. Hence the grip ring, grip
contour and push rods. Did I forget the Wigids, Quad Oars?

I have always used the rubber coated plastic. The foam getting pretty nasty
after six months. The standard choices of pushrims for quads is rubber coated,
foam, projection. They have came out with some other types of rims that are
aftermarket companies, but depending on your vendor and insurance......

What specific rims do you find easiest to use as a quad with no grip on a
manual chair?
