Just passing
this information along to the email list. If you have a spinal cord injury and
chronic neuropathic pain the study [below] may be of interest to you. I cannot
endorse or verify its authenticity, but it does seem legitimate.

Subject: Spinal Chord Injury Pain Trials
Hi Don,
I'm
Ilana, a study coordinator for the Translational Pain Research Group at Brigham
and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. We have been conducting clinical
research studies with the purpose of discovering new drugs to treat chronic
pain in spinal cord injury patients for over 15years
now. We are actively recruiting for a spinal cord injury pain trial that is
evaluating a new treatment for chronic neuropathic pain. It would be great if
you could share this information with your members!
The
study would require 4 short inpatients visits to Brigham and Women's Hospital
in Boston MA, and we will help with arrangements and provide full reimbursement
for travel expenses. For this study, we are looking for individuals who have an
injury at T5 or below with chronic neuropathic pain observed for at least 3
months. I have attached an announcement to this email so that you can review
them and share with the team. Do you have a web site where we could post the
information? If you have any questions about the study, please let me know.
Many
Thanks!
Ilana
