There are remote door locks that have a battery in them, just check at your local home improvement store. If it's just to let people in like caregivers, give them each a key. If it's for friends, hide a key outside and let them know where it's at, and have them put it back when they leave. This is also helpful incase of an emergency, just let 911 know where it's at.
