We have a station, Sheetz. They have a wheelchair icon on the keypad on the
pumps. I tried it the other day but no one came out. A teen-ager next to me
asked if I needed any help. I gladly excepted as it was only 10 degrees out! I
have several stations in my town that if I pull up & beep, they'll come out.
Other stations will come out but I need to go I & ask.

I hope you have made some kind of communication with your local Costco,
thanking them for their consideration. The local media should also be made
aware of this special service.

Hat's off to Costco!! For years I had to time my driving when I could get
family or work colleagues to help fill my tank with gas when low. A couple of
years ago a new Costco was build with a gas station in the parking lot. The
policy is that if it is open an attendant is there in a florescent green
jacket so they can be identified. They are specifically there to help people
with disabilities pump gas. You just drive up and honk. Pretty amazing that a
  company would do that.
