The ceiling lift industry has changed so much in just the last decade..... and continues to change each season with newer technology. Some ceiling lifts are solely mounted on one's available ceiling. Other lifts may mount on a flat ceiling, but are supported along each wall for additional support to its users. Some lifts use a ceiling support and the motor can be removed and attached to another rooms ceiling rail or can be used in one room and transferred to a bathroom for additional lift support. The lift uses 2 12 volt/12 amp batteries for power. Best Wishes In a message dated 3/24/2014 2:34:37 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Hi All, I'm seriously considering buying a ceiling lift. Who has one? What brand do you have? How long ago did you get it? How much did it cost? Anything I should know before I buy one? Do they have back-up battery systems for the them? Bobbie Smile Everyday
