Amen to that Ron! I can remember everything I did that day, some of the 
accident, waking up, hearing people talk, throwing up on lifeflight :-), in the 
E.R. begging them not to cut my hair, (keep in mind, not knowing the 
seriousness of injuries) & then parts of I.C. U. & now cancer but I'm still 
here. Each day is a gift.

Im the same way I can tell people in vivid detail the final day I walked 
leading up to the event .Actually everything I did pre injury Ive seem to went 
over many times Ive also realized though the things Ive done after my injury 
are gifts to because by all right I should be dead.

Isn't it strange how after more than forty years every second of our last hour 
standing is seared in our memory. I can recall every tiny detail of that day. I
