Hello fellow quads,

I'm just going to throw this one out there and we'll ponder over any
replies.

I am a C-5/6 quad, mostly healthy, but throughout my 48 years of Post SCI
have occasions where my blood pressure will be skyhigh in two minutes later
 in the basement.

An example that I can use happen two months ago, just before we call the
ambulance, my blood pressure with 80/50, after the ambulance arrived in less
than five minutes my blood pressure went to 22?/13?. In about 10 minutes
into the transport it started fluctuating almost normal, 13?/8?.

Normally within about two weeks things would settle them, much more very
low blood pressure then high blood pressure, then we would return to normal.

This time, two months after the incident, my blood pressure remains high,
at times reaching more than 200/13?. In the evening I would go to sleep,
wake up in about two hours with a fever of 100 plus and my heart would be
elevated to 90 to 100. My normal temps run in 97° range, normal heartbeat
48, this morning my temperature was 95.6°.

Sound familiar? What meds are you using if you get something similar?

Later,

Glenn Henry
