baclofen is usually the first step in controlling spasms. most spinal cord 
injured folks have been on it at one time or another. it can make you tired and 
drowsy at first but goes away after awhile. its non addictive which is good. 
the dosage ranges from 10mg to about 100mg I believe, at that point you can 
switch to the pump.
