Danny,
If your spasms are really bad you need to think about asking your doctor if
he or she can possibly prescribe something like diazepam or dantrolene.
There are others. That is of course assuming you have done what the others
recommended first.

I was never able to get my spasms under control until I went on a regimen
of baclofen, dantrolene and even a little bit of diazepam. I have gradually
been able to reduce my diazepam over several years to where I'm only taking
2.5 mg (a half a pill) a day. Some days I even go without the diazepam.

One thing that helped me reduce my spasms considerably was doing intensive
ranging which concentrated on my Achilles tendon. Once I started doing this
my legs stopped jumping out of the bed and I was able to reduce my
medication considerably. If you're not sure how to do this, I might yield
help you by describing or someone else might help out.

I did try the standing frame long time ago and it worked, but it took two
people to get me in the frame and it just wasn't that practical for me.
