Next week members of Congress will be home for their "July 4 break" to
meet with, and listen to, their constituents. This is a great opportunity for
you to remind them about unfinished work on important health care issues
that will affect patients' access to critical care this year and beyond.

This Congress, lawmakers have taken serious steps toward repealing
Medicare's flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula. This formula is
hurting
physicians and patients by annually threatening payment cuts that will
impact a patients' choice of physician and access to the care that they need.

Unfortunately, this bipartisan legislation has stalled. We need you to
remind Congress how important passing a permanent SGR repeal is to protect
and preserve our Medicare system!

today at (888) 434-6200. You will be connected with
the district office for your representative and senators.

Urge your lawmakers to continue working in a bipartisan manner to protect
Medicare and seniors' choice of physician by repealing the flawed Medicare
SGR formula this year.

The current Medicare system is broken. Real reform that will transform the
program into an effective, 21st-century model of care is achievable this
year, but it cannot be built on the crumbling foundation of Medicare's SGR
formula.

Take advantage of this time when your members of Congress are back at
home: _Email_ (https://www.votervoice.net/link/target/pan/JFEb28zbb.aspx) or
call (888) 434-6200 to be connected with their district offices and tell
them to continue working together to repeal the SGR.
