I guess I will go into a story that took place about close to1 yr after my injury. I had bought a 1984 ford E150 wheelchair van for 1500.00 dollars out of a barn but wasn't technically driving it yet. My buddy was driving me one night and we went to eat then proceded to try to park at walmart. He pulled in a spot with the hash lines on the right side of the van. After shopping for awhile we came out and I said " some asshole blocked us in", my buddy said well........."ill take care of him". He proceded to put his arm through the window of the car that was blocking us and put it in neutral and release the brake. He pushed it up along Walmart and let the car ghost ride. During all this I was getting into the van and getting the door shut for a smooth getaway. My buddy runs back to the van and somebody says " do you need help" my buddy says " nope just teaching a guy a lesson. After that my buddy jumped in the van and we were driving out and there was the car , it had went a ways and stopped on a curb. My buddys like do you want me to rip the spark plug wires out? Im like hell no lets get out of here b4 somebody comes out and we are in for it. I still tell this story every so often to this day. My dad at the time didn't want me to drive so my buddy would put the hand controls on after he left for work then take them off a few hours later. Finally I put a up to date set of controls on the old van along with a swivel seat and remote for the doors and lift and she wasn't a bad old van. Blew her up about 4 yrs later
