Funny thing, my van was making a terrible raddle noise  for a month. Like dragging a pop can.
No one could find the issue. Finely, yesterday the steering wheel was shaking so bad. My attendant  said it was too bad to drive. We stopped by the Ford dealer and they found the noise. A lug-nut was off, tumbling inside the hub cap.  Still can't find the steering wheel shaking issue. If it was more than 1 lug-nut I could see the wheel wobbling, but the guy did not notice if any other were loose.
The ABS and Parking Brake lights come on and off, so not sure if that could cause that.
The shaking is also very intermittent. I would think a loose wheel would be constant.
We also brought it to another mechanic first and they could not find the issue. They thought maybe the ABS brakes were firing off intermittently causing a shaking feeling. I bet they left off the lug-nut.
It's still at the shop. So I hope they find the cause. Yesterday they couldn't so they kept it another day.
It would be great if it was the lug-nut, lots cheaper.
