They came to service my chair today. From yesterdays rant, most know I need a motor. Invacare sent the dealer a bad motor! Yes, it is the motor. The dealer communicated with Invacare in all their high tech talk. I have a new joystick, computer, wires that go to both, leaving the motors. I'm using a TDX-5, on it's 3rd motor. My next will be a Quatum made by Pride. All other wheelchairs use Invacare parts. FYI if you need to know.
This is a copy/paste from facebook. For those who have a Quatum, how do you like it? I'm eligible for a new one in 2015. My TDX has been repaired countless times, only 4 yrs old. To make this matter worse, I live 20 miles from Invacare. The dealer and Invacare are both in the same city. They're no longer permitted to drive over there to pick up parts. They must be shipped. I know that much of Invacare was outsourced to China, maybe that could be the source of bad products. :-) Dianna
